Visa pictures and packing

There is less than a month before I leave for Wales! I just got back from spending a month at a camp in Colorado without technology, which was a nice break from the outside world and distractions. Now that I’m home, preparations for leaving are in full force! I have started packing and getting organized for leaving. Today we drove to the immigration office in Durham to get a facial scan and fingerprints for my visa. It almost felt like I was being booked! It was much faster than I thought it would be and we were in and out in about 15 minutes. In just 29 days I will have to say goodbye to all my friends and family and get ready to start a new adventure in Wales. Though it will be sad to leave, I am very excited for this amazing opportunity and extremely grateful for everyone who has helped me get in this position. I wouldn’t be here without you!!

  1. Congratulations Kendall!!! So exciting! One of my best friends went to UWC Atlantic, and he arrived at college still saying things like “jumper” for jacket and “bin” for trash can, so watch out for your American English 🙂

I hope you had a great summer at Cheley, and best of luck with the big move!

  2. I’ll be following your blog, pictures and comments! Love ya SO much and glad you had such a wonderful month at Cheley! We’ll talk soon…XOXO
